Two St Paul's

Inscription

{In the rectangular frame to this double plan, reading anti-clockwise:}
Resurgam. The outlines of these two cathedrals & their different alignments are displayed here. The adjacent garden is laid out on the site of the former Chapter House. Resurgam. The cathedral church of St Paul built by Sir Christopher Wren stands on the site of the medieval cathedral destroyed by the Great Fire of London 1666.

For our detail picture we show the Chapter House and Cloister which are actually laid out in situ at St Paul's Medieval footprint.
