Site: Prater water trough (1 memorial)

EC1, St John Street

This water trough was not here Spring-Summer 2011 but in January 2012 SilverTiger featured it on his blog. Had it been moved here from its original site?  Had it just been away temporarily?  We are used to the idea that plaques may be erected as soon as our back is turned but large, solid, heavy, granite water troughs? SilverTiger had also done some research and reported that Dr Prater also gave the basin which is now sited in Harefield Road, SW16.
