In memory of those who were killed in the bomb attack on a route 30 bus near this spot on 7th July 2005.
{A list of 13 names in alphabetical sequence, with the very long one at the end - see below for the names.}
London will not forget them and all those who suffered that day.
Site: Bombs 7/7/05 - no.30 bus - plaque (1 memorial)
WC1, Tavistock Square, BMA House
This plaque is attached to the railings of the building for the British Medical Association. On that dreadful morning medical staff from this building rushed to assist the wounded at the bus bomb on the street outside. Our photo was taken on 7/7/2012.
A more substantial memorial very nearby in Tavistock Square Garden was unveiled in 2018.
May 2024: Mr Little informed us that this plaque has gone - possibly it was considered superfluous given the memorial in the garden. We'll keep this page for the record, but we've marked the plaque as Lost.
