Site: Marylebone Calvary war memorial (1 memorial)

W1, Bryanston Street, Parish Church of The Annunciation

From the church's website: A Chapel of Ease, known as the Quebec Chapel, was originally on the site from 1787 and this was replaced by the present Church designed by Walter Tapper in 1911. The church was dedicated on 24 June 1914.

May 2024: the church's history page now has: "The church is also home to a Calvary War Memorial, on the corner of Old Quebec Street and Bryanston Street. It commemorates those who lost their lives in WW1, including local service men. It is thought that the memorial was installed shortly after construction of the church and that the design is also by the architect Walter Tapper."  Following vandalism the memorial was restored and the church is preparing to commemorate its centenary on 30th of June.
