Architect. Born Brighton (though the picture source has him born in Scotland). His father and brother were also architects. Active member of RIBA and its president 1919-21. Went into partnership with Maxwell Ayrton. Designed the Brighton War Memorial and Wembley Stadium. 4 Millbank is the only extant London building of which we are aware (with Ayrton). Died at home, West Hill, Highgate.
