Designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette. Apart from providing a pleasant riverside walk, it was built with the dual purpose of providing a flood barrier and as a covering for the main low level sewer for West London. It runs along the north bank of the Thames from Chelsea Bridge to Albert Bridge.

Suspension bridge over the River Adur in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex. Designed by William Tierney Clark with Captain Samuel Brown. It was replaced in 1923.
