Indian army officer. Born Ceylon, the son of an army officer. Also served in China and Abyssinia. Field Marshal and Constable of the Tower of London. Died at home 63 Eaton Square.
Not as far as we know related to the other en-statued Napier, General Sir Charles James Napier.

Naval officer. 1799, in command of the Sanspareil, was crippled in an accident, and rendered unfit for active service. RN Lieut-Governor of Greenwich Hospital, 1809 until his death.
Co-partner or employee of the South Suburban Gas Company. Served but did not die in WW1.
Resident of the Central Ward, Hendon who served and died in WW1.
