Architect. Born in Edinburgh. Amongst his designs were: Aberconway House, Mayfair (1922), the Royal Horticultural Society's Lawrence Hall (1928); the British Pavilion at the 1939 World's Fair in New York; Loughton tube station (1940). Died in London.
For want of a image of the man we are using a photo of Lawrence Hall. The blue plaque on the building is not for Easton, but for J. Arthur Rank.

Architects. The history of the firm, now (2019) Shepheard Epstein Hunter, is given here. We had to check whether the Epstein in the firm, Gabriel Epstein, is related to Jacob, and it seems not.
Architect and prolific writer of church hymns (nearly 2000!). Born Wapping. Died Homerton where he was a church warden at St. Barnabas.
The mediaeval church dates from 1174. Rebuilt in 1437 and then destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666. Rebuilt by Christopher Wren 1680.
With the two other architects Sir Herbert Baker and Alexander T Scott, Vernon Helbing built London House, Goodenough College in WC1 in 1972. It is now Grade II listed.
