Artist and designer of the peace symbol in 1958.
Graduated from the Royal College of Arts. Conscientious objector in WW2. In 1958 he was working for the Ministry of Education. On 21 February 1958 he designed the nuclear disarmament logo for the first Aldermaston March, which took place Easter, 4–7 April 1958.
