Alan Barry Cartwright.

At 7.30pm 15-year-old Alan was stabbed to death as he cycled with three friends in the Caledonian Road. The attackers made off with two bicycles. A few weeks later, on 6 March, a teenager was charged with his murder and conspiracy to rob.  The picture source has CCTV footage of the attack. September 2015: Alan Cartwright's killer, Joshua Williams, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years.
