Randal William MacDonnell, 6th Earl. He had no sons so King George III recreated the Earlship (resetting the numbering) so that his daughters could inherit and pass on the title until a male heir put in an appearance.
The Earl was elected Grand Master of the Freemasons 1783-91 and as such, in 1786, he consecrated a Lodge with the number 234 at the Ship Tavern, a centre of Freemasonry.
