Born Brazil. Electrician. Shot dead in a tube carriage by counter-terrorist police officers hunting for would-be suicide bombers who had attempted to attack the London transport system the day before. He had been incorrectly identified as one of the bombers and the police followed him from his Tulse Hill flat, on to a bus, another bus, and thence to the tube where specialist firearm officers pinned him down and shot him 9 times at close range. Investigations into the shooting failed to pin the blame on anyone. Details about the campaign Justice4Jean.
