Kelso Cochrane

Came to London in 1958, lived in Notting Hill and worked as a carpenter. Murdered by a group of white youths. The race riots the previous year, the increase in racist activities by Fascist groups and finally this murder prompted an investigation into race relations, chaired by Amy Garvey.
