Plough Brewery

Categories: Food & Drink

From Brewery History:  "Thomas Woodward & Son, Plough Brewery, 516 Wandsworth Road, South Lambeth, Greater London SW8 3JX Founded 1801 and acquired by Thomas Woodward 1868 and the Plough Brewery was opened on 3rd February 1869. Acquired by Simonds Ltd in 1924 for London offices and bottling; later Courage as a bottling plant and store."

From Marston "When Marston Properties purchased the building from the Courage Brewery in 1968 it was in a derelict state, and we sensitively converted it into commercial offices. {it} was refurbished and updated during 2002 to provide accommodation on five floors."

The Clapham Society have some thorough research and more photos.
