Building    From 25/6/1896  To 2008

Shepherd's Bush Library

One of a number of libraries founded by the philanthropist John Passmore Edwards. The building fell into disuse after a new library was opened as part of the nearby Westfield London development. It was then reopened in 2011 as the new home of the Bush Theatre. The photograph was taken at the opening of the library in 1896.
