Trim

Categories: Animals

Close companion to Captain Matthew Flinders. Born on HMS Reliance while in the the Southern Indian Ocean. He accompanied Flinders around Australia and to Mauritius. Wikipedia has a lot to say about this cat who survived drowning a few times but ultimately disappeared possibly ending up as someone's dinner.

Wikipedia informs of 3 other statues of Trim: Sydney and Port Lincoln in Australia and Donington, Lincolnshire.

We never managed to get an acceptable photo of Trim at Euston so we are doubly grateful to YourSculpture for achieving this image.
