Built by the end of the 13th century. Dedicated to St John after 1660. Church demolished 1797 - 98.

Friday Street used to continue northwards up to Cheapside but the top section was badly bombed in WW2 and then built over.
There is an almost identical plaque on Philip Blairman House in Elder Street.
