We're read that this plaque, showing a map of the world, is intended to honour the mosque, which seems odd. To us it seems more symbolic of immigration from many countries into Spitalfields.

We cannot find any information about Bowler himself, only that in c.1990-2010...

Left to right down the plaques are: Forsyth, Davis, Garland, Houdini, which we think is the sequence of erection.
