Dulwich College WW1 memorial

Inscription

{Around the fourth plinth up:}
To the glory of God in honour of the men of this foundation who served in the Great War 1914-1919 and in solemn remembrance of those who died for liberty and justice.

On the south side of the monument is a simple crest with three roses and a chevron inverted with the Latin text "Detur Gloria Soli Deo" (Glory be to God alone). This is the Dulwich College coat of arms.
