Plaque

Henry VI's death

Inscription

By tradition Henry VI died here, May 21st 1471.

Site: Henry VI's death (1 memorial)

EC3, Tower of London, Wakefield Tower

Being interior shots our photos are lower quality than usual but we think this just adds atmosphere to the murder scene. The plaque is on the floor in the small chapel where the imprisoned king was supposedly at prayer when he was murdered.
