Fort and his wife Anna lived in the first floor flat, conveniently close to the British Museum for his researches.
The Belcher plaque is on the stone in the foreground of our photo, and the St Mark's cairn and WW2 memorials behind it.
Obviously a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ job. A local resident described it as looking like it was made on the bottom of an oil drum.
