Plaque

(lost) John Buchan

Inscription

John Buchan, author & statesman, lived in a house on this site from 1912 until 1919.

Site: John Buchan (1 memorial)

W1, Portland Place, 76, Institute of Physics Foyer

This plaque in the foyer of the Institute of Physics can be seen through the window. The very helpful receptionist let us photograph it.

2016: Bill Simons wrote to tell us this plaque is missing. The people at the building were helpful but, following renovations, the plaque has been lost.
