Site: John Lennon - Montagu Square (1 memorial)

W1, Montagu Square, 34

When John left his wife Cynthia he moved into this flat with Yoko. They lived here for just three months in 1968, during which they photographed themselves for the 'Two Virgins' album cover. The flat had already been occupied by Jimi Hendrix, Chas Chandler, Ringo and Maureen Starr and Paul McCartney. No, not all together - the 60s weren't that silly.

2020: Nice post from Richard Porter who was invited to the unveiling.
