Matchbox cars - sculpture

Erection date: /3/2012

Inscription

{Plaque laid into the ground:}
Lesney Industries produced Matchbox Toy Cars on this site from 1969 - 1982.
The car models are replicas of Matchbox's Ferrari Berlinetta and Dodge Challenger, which were made during the first and last years of toy car production upon this site.

This sculpture was commissioned in March 2012 by Telford Homes Plc.

Frustratingly, we cannot discover the name of the sculpture who has solved the puzzle of how to create a sculpture of miniature objects without them being nigh on invisible.
