This must be one of the most colourful corners of London.
In 1976 Palin and Gilliam bought these offices as studios and editing suite for Python films and other projects.

Plaque unveiled by Don Wales, grandson of Sir Malcolm and nephew of Donald.
Erected between 2015 (when the property was being renovated) and 2021, the plaque is made of manganese nickel brass, by FSE Foundry.
We don't understand the "L.L.A.D." on the plaque - perhaps the erecting organisation? Please let us know if you have an explanation.
The memorial is actually in the pavement at the junction of Festing Road and Lower Richmond Road. Our map pin is at number 54, the house...
While the plaque is in Holland Street, the address is 56 Hornton Street.
