Plaque

Richard White

Erection date: 19/6/2011

Inscription

Richard White, founder of the Mill Hill Park estate, eminent lawyer and founder member of the Law Society, lived here, 1809 - 1849. This is the east wing of his original mansion.
Erected by the Mill Hill Park Residents' Association 2011.

Site: Richard White (1 memorial)

W3, Avenue Crescent, 11

Richard White "and others" bought the Acton manor 53 acres in 1809 but White was long dead when his house and ground were developed into the Mill Hill Estate so it's stretching things to call him the founder. We do appreciate that composing the Tweet-length texts for plaques is no easy task.
