Plaque

Sir Ambrose Fleming

Erection date: 1971

Inscription

Sir Ambrose Fleming, 1849 - 1945, scientist and electrical engineer, lived here.
Greater London Council

Site: Sir Ambrose Fleming + Hamish Pettit (2 memorials)

W9, Clifton Gardens, 9 + 11

Following the erection of the Pettit plaque we visited in June 2024 to photo that and to take a new photo showing numbers 9 and 11 with their plaques.  However there was extensive scaffolding. So we have retained the photo without the Pettit plaque, for the time-being.
