EC2, Old Broad Street

You have to hand it to these plaque erectors; they can erect a plaque just anywhere, even in a hidden, difficult to reach corner like this. Well done, lads.

2020: Our colleague Alan Patient wrote: "The retail unit which previously obscured this plaque has gone. It has been replaced by a considerably large development of shops and restaurants. Looking back on Street View, work on this started in about 2016."  All the greenery in our picture has gone, along with the plaque it seems.
