This Memorial Garden, re-dedicated in 2009, commemorates the residents of West Norwood who lost their lives, or who served at home or abroad, during the Second World War.

In our photo the railing replacement plaque can just be seen on the low wall to the left of the steps. The Memorial Garden plaque is on the other side of the steps but is almost obscured by foliage. The panels with the WW1 list of names are behind the two central columns of the peristyle, and the war memorial cross is to the left of the white van.
