Tommy Steele - London Palladium

Erection date: 9/6/2005

Inscription

Tommy Steele has headlined more performances at the London Palladium than any other star.
Dick Whittington (1969-70).
The Tommy Steele Show (1973).
Hans Anderson (1974-75 & 1977-78).
Singin' in the Rain (1983-1985 & 1989)
and Scrooge (2005-2006)

We found this photo of the plaque at Blue Plaque Places, which doesn't seem to exist anymore, so we hope they don't mind us using it. Alamy have a photo of Tommy displaying the plaque (on an easel) dated 9 June 2005.

Site: London Palladium - interior (6 memorials)

W1, Argyll Street, 8

The Vaughan, Grade, Centenary and Crosby plaques are all in the foyer area. The Forsyth plaque is, we understand, under the stage. And the Tommy Steele plaque? When we visited in November 2023 we were told that it is in the bar area, access to which requires a ticket.
