Trees for Westminster

Erection date: 15/11/1985

Inscription

To celebrate Westminster City Council's Quatercentenary HRH the Duke of Kent, patron of the Tree Council, planted one of four hundred trees donated by Selfridges.
15th November 1985.

Site: Trees for Westminster (1 memorial)

W2, Cumberland Gate

Nice plaque but it, or the tree planted by the Duke, has been moved. All the nearby trees look far too mature to have been planted in 1985. And we wonder where the other 399 trees are.
