This land was bequeathed in 1580 by William Lambe who rebuilt the Holborn Conduit, bringing clean water to the City of London.

Their Hall, next to All Hallows Staining, was destroyed in the Great Fire.
The plaque is actually located on the side of the house in Beaufort Street. See the other Munnings plaque.
