Site: Max Nicholson sundial (1 memorial)
SE1, Queen's Walk, Potters Fields Park
The sundial's own website has been usurped by the usual smut, but London SE1 has a report of the unveiling. The sundial is on a concrete plinth, one of a pair on this section of the Walk. The article explains that they are for water taps and the sundial maker spotted that one could do double duty, supporting this memorial to his father. The plinths are in corners of the river wall. The other is to the east and has a blanking plate on top.
