Born as Tracy Lovick in 1964 and in September 2001 she married John Andrews (1959-2004) in the Hertford and Ware registration district, Hertfordshire.

According to the BBC News website she lived in Chingford, Essex and was staying in a beach front bungalow with her husband at the Charlie Beach Resort in Phi Phi, Thailand.
