Martin King

Martin King was a company director, killed in the Ladbroke Grove rail disaster. Andrew Behan has kindly carried out further research: Martin Gary King was born on 9 August 1958. He was a company director who died, aged 41 years, on 5 October 1999 when travelling in the second coach of the 8.06am Thames Trains Turbo train from Paddington to Bedwyn, Wiltshire when it collided with the 6.03am First Great Western High Speed Train from Cheltenham Spa, Gloucestershire to Paddington, in the Ladbroke Grove rail disaster. He was cremated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on 14 October 1999. The subsequent inquest was told his body was not taken to the mortuary until 21 hours after it was discovered and that he was he was identified from his dental records.
