Charles Arthur Patten was Medical Officer of Health for Ealing District Council in 1901.

His post-nominal, LRCP Lon, indicates that he was a Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians.

Brief obit. in St Bartholomew's Hospital Journal 1918-19: "We regret to have to record the death of Dr. C. A. Patten, who for more than fifty years was Medical Officer of Health for Ealing. After study at this Hospital, Dr. Patten qualified M.R.C.S. Eng. in 1861. Deceased had held many appointments, and was Honorary Consulting Medical Officer at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, Ealing. He had also been Divisional Police Surgeon. Dr. Patten was seventy-nine years of age."

Died at 17, Mount Park Road, Ealing.
