Earl Jowitt

William Allen Jowitt, 1st Earl Jowitt, PC was a Labour politician and lawyer who served as Lord Chancellor 1945-51. Married Lesley McIntyre in 1913. No sons and we think, no daughters. Entered the House of Lords in 1945.
