John Norton

Killed in WW2 air raids in Hoxton.

Not very much could be found about this young man apart from that which is on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's website. He was aged 18 years when he died on 22 July 1944 at 44 Herbert Grove, Hoxton and was the son of Mr G. Norton.

He is also commemorated in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour 1939-1945 that is kept just outside the entrance to St George's Chapel at the west end of Westminster Abbey.
