Kuttalam Govindarajan

Kuttalam Govindarajan was born on 6 December 1965 in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). In September 1987 he married Leticia Abuan in Ealing and he died, aged 21 years, on 18 November 1987 in the King's Cross Underground Station fire. He was cremated on 3 December 1987 in Islington and their son, Rommel Ryanbert Govindarajan was born eight months after his death.

Administration of his estate was granted on 19 July 1989. Probate records show that his home address had been 21 Farnborough Avenue, Pavely Street, London, NW8 and his effects did not exceed £70,000. This address was also given in The London Gazette on 8 November 1989, however no such address exists and it now confirmed that the correct address was 21 Farnborough Avenue, Walthamstow, London, E17 6HX.

The subsequent fire investigation report described him as a Manager, Bureau de Change. In 1993 his widow was awarded £141,000 agreed damages.
