Michael John Maddocks-Watson

Michael John Maddocks-Watson was born in August 1942, the son of John A. Maddox-Watson (b.circa 1917) and June Elizabeth Maddocks-Watson née Clarkson-Tinline (1921-1995). His birth was registered in the 3rd quarter of 1942 in the Staines Registration District, Middlesex (now Surrey).

Electoral registers from 1959 to 1961 show his parents listed at 4 Southway, Carshalton, Surrey (now Greater London).

He was killed, aged 32 years, in the Moorgate tube disaster and his death was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District where his date of birth was shown as just August 1942.

Probate records confirm that he lived at 6 Durham Road, London, N7 and that he died on 28 February 1975. Administration of his estate was granted on 2 May 1975 and his effects totalled £4,360.

He is shown as 'MADDOCKS-WATSON, MICHAEL' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2.
