Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands

Categories: Royalty

Countries: Netherlands

She had a busy time on her visit to England in June 1989 to help us celebrate the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and the crowning of William of Orange in 1689. We've found 1 memorial she unveiled on the 28th and 2 on the 29th. Abdicated in 2013.

Her Wikipedia page confirms that she was born as Princess Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard on 31 January 1938 at Soestdijk Palace in Baarn, Netherlands, as the first child of Princess Juliana Louise Emma Marie Wilhelmina of the Netherlands (1909-2004) and her husband, Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfel (1911-2004).
