Novelist. Born Rosamond Nina Lehmann in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire. An associate of the Bloomsbury Group, she achieved great success with her first novel 'Dusty Answer' in 1927. Her subsequent works were less successful. During the 1940s she had a long love affair with the married Cecil Day Lewis. Died at her home Clareville Grove, Kensington.
