We can find little on Thomas Hesilrige. His brother Arthur (1601-61) was a leader of the Parliamentary opposition to Charles I and was, in May 1660, confined to the Tower of London, where he died.
According to Westminster Abbey Thomas was buried in the Abbey. When Charles II was restored to the throne he ordered the disinterment of the bodies of Oliver Cromwell and his supporters, including Thomas, and their reburial in an unmarked pit in St Margaret's churchyard, Westminster.
