Vladimir Kara-Murza

Vladimir Vladimirovich Kara-Murza is a Russian-British political activist, journalist, author, filmmaker, and former political prisoner. A protégé of murdered Russian dissident Boris Nemtsov

Following Nemtsov's death, he has worked to honour Nemtsov's legacy and spoken out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Imprisoned April 2022 - August 2024, only released as part of a prisoner exchange.
