{On the large, original plaque:}
In grateful and affectionate memory of the men of Chiswick who fell in the Great War, 1914 - 1918.
{In lead lettering on the section of the granite plinth below the WW1 plaque:}
And in the world war 1939 - 1945.

Originally surrounded by metal railings which have since been replaced with the hedge.
