Sarah Parker Remond, 1826 - 1894, African American abolitionist, lecturer, suffragist, polyglot, UCL & Bedford College graduate, lived at 6 Grenville Street, later became an obstetrician in Italy.

Remond lived at 6 Grenville Street, which would have been opposite this modern building, in a Georgian terrace - and we believe there is a photo of it, which we have on our page for 8 Grenville Street. Cross-referencing with the Howood map of 1799, number 6 was the third house from Brunswick Square, that's the third doorway if you count right to left in the photo.
