Anne Fleetwood

We cannot identify this lady. She could be the daughter (c.1644-60) of Charles Fleetwood, by his first wife, Bridget, Oliver Cromwell's sister. Or the daughter or wife of George Fleetwood (1623–72) who was a co-signatory of Charles I's death warrant.

When Charles II was restored to the throne he ordered the disinterment of the bodies of Oliver Cromwell and his supporters, including Anne, and their reburial in an unmarked pit in St Margaret's churchyard, Westminster.
