Victoria Cross, 1939 - 1945. Indian Armoured Corps attached 3bn 6th Gurkha Rifles. Resident of Golders Green.

Our Picture source together with his Wikipedia page give much information about this army officer. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission's webpage also confirms that his body was exhumed from Plot 4, Row J, Grave 5 in the Sahman War Cemetery on 29 June 1954 and reburied in Plot 13, Row A, Grave 4 of the Taukkyan War Cemetery, Mingaladon, Burma (now Myanmar).
