Diss Street, Vaughan Estate - foundation

Categories: Social Welfare

We are delighted that the Terraces Tenements and Tower Blocks project researched the Housing Committee minutes and found this photograph.  The Housing Committee are probably the people at the back right.  We can see the Rev. but there is an extra woman (should only be 2 according to the plaque).  The 5 men clustered around the plaque are probably the Mayor and the 4 named at the bottom of the plaque.
