Sophie Hannah Marguerite Hosking, MBE

Sophie Hannah Marguerite Hosking and Katherine Sarah Copeland (b.1990) won the gold medal in the 2012 Olympics in the Rowing: Lightweight - Women's Double Sculls, held at Dorney Lake, Court Lane, off Lake End Road, Dorney, Windsor, Berkshire.

Her Wikipedia page and her GB Rowing Team biography website give much information about this lady.

Together with Katherine Copeland she was made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours List for services to rowing.

She is shown as 'Sophie Hosking' on the golden painted pillar box in Worple Road, London, SW19.
